Characteristics:
Soft silvery-white metal and liquid at the temperature of about 29.76 °C (85.57 °F) or slightly above room temperature. Elemental gallium is a brittle solid at lower termperature.Soluble in acid, alkali and slightly soluble in mercury. Reacts with most metals at high temperatures.
